It might be hot as hades in Georgia but it was time to get the kids out of the house and on a long golf cart ride to the library.  They each checked out a book that I am determined they will read.  At some point in their life.

Took Delaney to the hospital to have her pinky finger x-rayed.  Guess she doesn't like having her picture taken during this process.  It was broken but nothing a little Chick-fil-A won't fix. 

This is what happens when your air conditioning breaks on one of the hottest days in history.  HISTORY!

You might be a redneck if you try and jump start it with your leaf blower.  Just sayin!

This is how my day usually ends.  On Pinterest watching trash TV.

Crib Bedspring Turned Picture Holder

 Do you still have a baby crib taking up storage space in your house? Here is a really cute repurposing idea for the crib bedsprings I saw on Pinterest. The picture I found didn't have a link. Hate when that happens. I wanted to know how they hung it. I turned this over to hubby who always thinks anything we hang needs to hold 500 pounds. I thought we could use hooks but he insisted on drilling a hole in the frame (top and bottom) and screwing it into a stud. So you could go with my plan and use hooks (which may or may not come out) or you can follow my hubby's lead and make it sturdy enough for the kids to climb. Your choice.

I used regular sized clothespins to hang the canvas artwork in the middle and little clothespins I found at Michaels for pictures and tickets. Did you know there is a Michaels App now? Thanks to this app and the 40% off coupon it contained this project only
